"I can be as aghast and horrified as anyone on here - the difference between them, and you and I - is that I am not willing to leap in with a knee-jerk reaction that ignores the circumstances of what has happened, and the situations leading up to it - and simply steams in with moral outrage and pointless posturing, which helps no-one."
Exactly Andy-Hughes, some people are quick to want to put set up the deportation cannon and firing people over the border or squeal in delight when they realise the story is of someones colour, religion they have a grudge against so that they can unleash all the bitterness,anger and outrage they hold in a special place for stories such as these.
This was not normal in any place on earth that I know of so this leads me to the obvious conclusion that she's mentally ill and this may have happened to herself by her father who could have been a paedophile.
We have to look at all avenues through a microscope in situations like these imo.

I am only speculating, based on the scant information that we have - but I still thank that beats 'Take her out and shoot her like vermin ...' as a mind set.
It's easy instantly to judge condemn and execute, but it's not humane.

As I have pointed out earlier - attempting to explain a possible rationale for a set of circumstances is not the same as condoning or excusing it.
There is no 'hook' for this woman to be 'let off' - that should be obvious to anyone who has read the link.

As I have pointed out earlier - attempting to explain a possible rationale for a set of circumstances is not the same as condoning or excusing it.

Not so - I would not have spent the huge amount of time that I have on this site over the years if I simply wanted people to state that they disagreed with me, and nothing else.
