we have a fair few down here, sandy!!!
I was forgetting the English Riviera.
Cornish Riviera, sandy.....hate to be a pedant.
Is that the fluttering of the Baner Peran I hear in the background?
Yep!
Whenever I hear the phrase "English Riviera" I am convinced that whoever first coined the phrase had obviously never been to Nice !
Bloodthirsty Lady wants to repeal fox hunting. I hate her already.
wants to bring back hunting, thinks marriage is only for believers and anyone else, including all gays, should just have civil partnerships... welcome to the late 1900s.
She sounds a wee darling .!!!!
Round here, we have had a fox run through the Dep. Huntmaster's garden. More importantly, we need someone who genuinely understands rural ecological balancing, be it a New Forest or Dartmoor pony, a tiny shrew or vole, or a badger versus a hedgehog, as wake up Birmingham or wherever, you can't have both.
I'm with you Postdog.
here come the urbanites, who haven't got a clue about what rural ecological and societal balance is all about...
If Leadsom were to win the leadership contest it would be because the unelected Tory members had disagreed with the will of the elected Tory PLP and as such I think there'd be an overwhelming case for a General election.
However that could be tricky as it would need a no confidence vote in the govt and it's hard to see it. labour are unlikely to want an election - so I thought no we'd be in for a period of huge instability - so no change there then
the Lib-Dems rub their hands in glee - but then they have picked up only 16k new members since the ref....was talking to their ex-MP down here.

Nope, TM to sail in - the question why the eff did they leave the vote until 09/09, that is crazy - this could have all been wrapped up by 15/07 and, hence, provide some additional stability to going forward.
The ten days after the Referendum were the most interesting in British politics in years...and it's continuing.

Go on Theresa - all the way.
I didn't know about the hunting issue, but if I wasn't against here before,
I am now !

put them on the same spot as Labour, then?

You don't have to have grown up/lived in an urban setting to be Anti-hunting.
The place I grew up in was in farming country and I was not the only person who despised 'the hunt'.

I would like to see an end to Gove's challenge for the leadership and see Theresa in the driving seat.
Gove's is dead and buried
So he is...... :o)

I only stopped working to watch the football and had missed that bit of news, jno.
So, it looks like Mrs May will be choosing the curtains in No. 10 as soon as Sam-Cam has taken theirs down...
