I have just remembered this. It was written by Charles Sykes and used by Bill Gates in a speech to graduates in the USA a number of years ago. RULE 1 Life is not fair - get used to it. RULE 2 The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself. RULE 3 You will NOT make 40 thousand dollars a...

One of Zac's mates. Bless.

oh dear..a good example why the electoral age should be raised !!
Silly, silly girl.
She's just ill informed, believes the nonsense spouted by others. I guess I was much the same when I voted to remain in the EEC. I think many are in that situation and are convinced the leave side voted for the wrong reasons rather than realising it was for the right reasons.
What exactly is this protest all about?

The people have ALREADY spoken. They need to accept it and move on with their lives.
same as the Braveheart Brigade....
Just feel the need to have a voice I suppose. No matter how irrelevant the protest is.
They were given a voice on Referendum day. A vast proportion of these pillocks didn't turn out to vote.
NoM...some under 18's have an opinion. How do they voice it? Not all of our teenagers are sat playing computer games...
by voting ummmm..which they do not appear to have done in any great numbers
Well at least she didnt mention data roaming charges
Ummmm. They can voice their opinions when they're 18.
I'm afraid under 18s can't vote, thank God.
The youngsters are happy with the opinions of Junkers and the other EUSSR acolytes. How old are they?
Zacs-Master

/// Maybe it should be capped at retirement age? Seriously, it's like listening to the incoherent ramblings in the day room of an old folks home on here at the moment. ///

"I've seen some stupidly ageist suggestions on here".

I have just used your own words Zac, hope you don't mind?
Jeez....I'm surprised at you Naomi.
What I say to those who are not happy with a democratic vote, they are perfectly free to go and live in a country that is still under the jack boot of the EU, bye.
Now back to reality, AOG....
Ummmm, //Jeez....I'm surprised at you Naomi. //

Why?
// The strange practice on the continent of not owning their own home is just one example of how our cultures differ. These differences are one reason why each nation needs to control itself and not have laws imposed by those with no understanding nor care for the differences. //

Except the EU have never stopped anyone from buying their home during our 43 year membership.
