All the evidence was that infiltration of Labour by Tory voters, made absolutely no difference. He was elected by a massive margin by members.

Tend to agree with Svejk, Labour are finished, or at least this iteration. Labour voters won't forgive the Labour MPs who are mostly Remainers. It is clear that Labour voters were mainly outers. Particularly as they have deserted the country in its hour of need.
Poor old mikey
Any one notice how his cruel bosses always
seem to ask him to work o/t when his non-existent party is in such turmoil. The AB Labour spokesman, guru and pundit can't fight his corner! :-(
Just occurred to me. The Prince of Darkness was very silent throughout the whole campaign and beyond.
what h0rse 5h1t you spout gromit, deserted the country? They saved us from your kind mate.
fail to see how his position is in anyway tenable..come back Benn..
I'm for Mandelson!!!☺☺☺
he has said he will not stand Jack !
Tora,
You misunderstand my post. I said the Remainer Labour MPs have deserted the nation, not the Labour voters who voted out.
That's how I read it too.
ok please accept my apologies, misunderstood what you meant.
☺.......just trying it out Jackdaw, thanks. ☺☺☺
^ Oh gawd, jd. You've started jourdain off now.
You should be practicing your links, my girl.
Not my fault! ☺☻☺☻♥♥♥!
I think that Hilary Benn would be the most viable option. Corbyn is tearing the party apart with his intransigence, and if he does not accept the wishes of his parliamentary party, he will split the party. With the Tories in disarray it is Labour's best chance to win the upcoming election if they have a good leader, and Corbyn will spoil that opportunity. He's been ineffective since he took over and needs to go.
He's proving harder to shift than Saddam Hussein
Don't underestimate the Tories. They are not in disarray.
Perhaps disarray was too strong a word. Weakened is what I meant - and Boris, if he gets the leadership, might not be the best choice for them.
How to shift Saddam Hussein (warning, not for the squeamish).

Metaphysicalus

Corbyn recieved a huge vote 9 months ago getting 59.5% compared with Andy Burnham's 19%. Since then, Labour has won 4 by-elections. This coup has been long in the making and absolutely nothing to do with his performance in the Referendum. Labour MPs have been terribly disloyal to Labour members. They are to a man, all Blairites, who the voters roundly rejected in 2010 and 2015. The members wanted a change, but the MPs didn't.
yes sounds about the size of it gromit.
