/// Who`s to say its not rabid remainers trying to tar brexiteers in a bad light - the way they have acted during and since the campaign I wouldnt put it past them. ///

Exactly, it seems strange that when something is finally being done regarding the vast immigration rate into the UK, there would be some who have just gained a certain amount of success by coming out of the EU, to now take this opportunity to vent their joy, by harassing the immigrants we now have.

Wouldn't it be more feasible into suspecting the poor losers, taking into account the constant labelling by them of being racist if one voted to leave the EU?
No, not another scare story at all AOG, if the following can happen ::

This is about as racist as it gets, attacks like these have mushroomed in the last few days. Committed by a small minority perhaps, although that won't be much commiseration to the people affected.

I don't want to stifle debate on AB but if you had done just a little research, before you posted AOG, perhaps you might have posted at all.

^ Priceless!!!!!!!
Balders...are you denying that those events took place ?

Now you're just being silly Mikey, where on earth did I suggest that?
Then what did you mean by "priceless" ?
I don't see why it should matter if it's the minority of people who voted for Brexit who are also racist enjoying a misguided sense of endorsement for their disgusting attitudes, or some sort of conspiratorial group of (also minority) Remain voters determined to slander the winning side. The attacks are totally unacceptable, and have to stop, and frankly that's the only message we should be sending.

You posited:

it seems strange that when something is finally being done regarding the vast immigration rate into the UK, there would be some who have just gained a certain amount of success by coming out of the EU, to now take this opportunity to vent their joy, by harassing the immigrants we now have.

So, what do you think the real story is?
Good point jim360.

Rather than pointing fingers at Remain or Brexit, we should instead be pointing fingers at the perpetrators.
It would appear to be a few isolated incidents...the figures as a percentage are used to make it seem far worse
Well said Jim and SP.

I did not deny that certain racist incidents have not taken place, just as they always have, but if you had read my question properly without an instant need to have a dig at me, you would have seen my concern over this is the fact that poor losers, can and will get up to all kind of tricks so as to put their victorious opponents into disrepute.
Believe whatever you will, AOG, although I'm not sure why you think it's so unreasonable that at least part of the rise is down to people feeling that the recent result provides some (albeit misguided) justification for airing their racist views.

Did I ever say that I thought that?

But then let me turn this on it's head,

I'm not sure why you think it's so unreasonable at least part of the rise is down to people feeling that the recent result provides some (albeit misguided) justification for an attempt in their rage, at discrediting their winning opponents.

The poor losers are those being attacked, for whatever reason...wouldn't you agree?
Regarding those who perpetrate these acts, whatever cap they wear, whatever camp they're in or however they wielded their pencil last Thursday - they make me feel ill.

Never mind leave the EU, there are times I'd like to leave the so called human race.

Please don't wish to leave the human race over this, a little graffiti on a door and a few idiotic racist remarks.

There are much worse things happening on this planet of ours than these.

In this case I would agree, but by whom is the question, the poor losers or the winners?
Are you suggesting that the remain people are conducting false flag acts of racism in order to discredit the leave people?

I can't see why you are so surprised, nations and their politicians have been doing such things for centuries.
