Perhaps at some point in the future , it will be known where she went .

Or it could turn out to be like the Lord Lucan Mystery

PeelerPal, you misunderstand. He was offering me a tin hat to wear during my foray into this thread.

Whether you like my questions or not is irrelevant. I think I’m free to ask them. If you, as a self-proclaimed expert on this case, would like to offer a response you’ll find them posted at 18:24.

anneasquith, they did what I would have done. They called the British press – and PeelerPal, in the circumstances, I wouldn’t have considered that ‘ridiculous’.
I am guessing that is sarcasm and I like your wit. I have never said that these are my theories, was was just putting one of the theories forward that could be conceivable. What I do not do is read the local rag and then say well it was in the sun so it must be true.
I wasn't there so I don't know the real truth, I do however take the time to listen and look at things from all angles.
If someone can come to me with their contention that doesn't have holes all over it I will happily take it on board, I just don't like it when people work with group think dynamics and say it must be true because everyone else says it is.
Naomi, I have never proclaimed to be an expert on this case. I have simply taken the interest and the time to look into it and to all of the information that is out there. I can see many holes and many unanswered questions and like yourself I want to know the answers too.
//I am guessing that is sarcasm and I like your wit. //

PeelerPal, I assume that ^ is to someone else. No sarcasm from me.

//If someone can come to me with their contention that doesn't have holes all over it I will happily take it on board//

In that case please be kind enough to take my questions on board and fill the holes in for me. Going to cook dinner now, so plenty of time for you to think about it. Back later.
Ridiculous. You're child is missing and you telephone the British press.
Yes sorry the sarcasm comment wasn't aimed at you.

I don't know why it seems that everyone is looking at me for the answer as if I know. All I am saying is that things do not add up and I gave one theory that could be a possibility and the only way I can answer your questions is this: Maddies blood was found on the floor behind the sofa FACT. The cadaver dog alerted to the scent of death in the corner of the bedroom next to the wardrobe FACT. Not one of the people who checked on maddie during that even testified to actually seeing her in her bed and just said it was dark in there and they could see the twins asleep. so something does not add up in my head. there is an hour long documentary on the time of her death, watch that and that may give you some idea.
I must be the only person alive who hasn't read a full-length report on the events of the night in question. So this is the first I've heard about blood behind the sofa.

I've come across mention of cadaver sniffer-dogs before but I cannot recall the context.

All "there was an accident" theories fall down on the simple matter of why cover that up? Or is the idea that it would have made them appear to be negligent parents and it ends up with social services taking their twins away?

Hypo
The cadaver dogs are specifically trained, one is to smell cadaver and the other is to smell blood plasma, one of the dogs found blood behind the sofa and the other found cadaver in the bedroom and in the hire car that they hired a week after the incident.

The accident theory would fall down if it was a simple case of an accident, however both parents are doctors and should they had sedated her and the drug that they had given her was in any way the cause of her death, that would not only be manslaughter but also clinical negligence as the child was not under any observation. I am not saying that this is the case but it is a possibility,n look at Conrad Murray!!
I always have thought of that interpreter chap who lived nearby the apartment with his mother, he seemed a bit shifty to me. He was investigated briefly and they found a secret room in his house ...............
Ann. I don't think "" looking shifty"" is enough evidence ?
they all do seem to have secret rooms these weirdos don't they? think about it, fred west, that austrian fellow, that bloke in america who kept 2 girls for 19years. there's certainly a few odd ones about....
Anneasquith

I think its about right to just lock up all shifty looking people! everyone how i have thought as a bit shifty has been so, I don't suggest locking them up but at least a slap here and there haha! I am kidding by the way before I get attacked!
If it's all as clear as PeelerPal says ("The kid is dead and died in that apartment") and as SharonA suggests then it's hard to see why the police have not come to the same conclusion- unless they think/know the police are also involved in the conspiracy to keep the case open
I'm not saying that I think Robert Murat is guilty, but reading the facts does make you think .....

Fiction-factory

This is exactly why there are so many unanswered questions because if there is a cover up, why? and why did they become suspects but then cleared under the guise of the UK government, the teams that they hired to investigate the case are criminals and convicted fraudsters and we are supposed to believe that everything is fine.
So that's that then
^ Mine was for Peeler Pal, Baldric
Its all crazy, baldric seems to have done his research, the truth is probably out there but will we ever be privvi to it? it really is an interesting case.
Was there ever a rumour of similar disappearances in the area? Extremely damaging to (what looks like) a purpose-built tourist resort, so the town itself had a lot to lose, from news of a child-kidnap gang in the vicinity.

The preliminary police handling ought to have captured a 'snapshot' of who was staying (and where) in the resort and all overlooking properties, some of which might not have been for rent to tourists.

If I recall rightly, by the time of the smuggling ring rumour, data of who was where was, variously, mislaid, destroyed (having proven to be investigative dead-ends), vague on residency dates, or *not gathered in the first place*.

Unavoidably, all available manpower must go into the search, not into door-to-door data gathering, or ensuring renters and locals do not slip away, in the night. I defy anyone to do the job effectively, with the resources available to what is/was a semi-rural area.

(That's not intended to read as an excuse, just my guess as to why pertinent facts were not captured before their importance could be realised).
