Please read this link carefully before making any assumptions on the effects of being in or out of the EU on immigration. Of particular note is the information that European Economic Area ( EEA) countries still have to abide by the rules on free movement of labor. Most 'out' supporters seem totally ignorant of these facts.

// Last night a DWP source said: ‘These are all facts that are already in the public domain. //

Old news dressed up as new. We know that the Conservativesimmigration targets are in tatters. That is because it was never a worked out target, just wishful thinking. Their "we will reduce immigration to tens of thousands, instead of hundreds of thousands" has come back to bite them on the bum many times. The folly was not being in the EU, the folly was trying to pass off a lie as a real policy.
Trade groups that will not drop their insistence on unacceptable rules in order to trade with them, are likely to be at the back of the queue when it comes to forming trade agreements.

The damage that free movement of labour makes has always been clear from the off. Those who formed the rules were probably insistent we are all one big country whether we like it or not and would pass anything to try to force that.

Easy movement of finance has problems also. Fine for the merchants getting richer; a disaster for nations trying to improve the lot of their citizens and finding merchants have next to no cost simply moving their commerce and the wealth collected here to a nation that is more compliant to their demands; causing unemployment and worker dismay in their wake.

What has that to do with the UK leaving the EU, Eddie? Are you suggesting that if we leave we must remain members of the EEA? Many nations trade with the EU but they don't accept the free movement of EU citizens in their countries.
Wheels within wheels, gromit. Although you're a lefty, you usually appear to be intelligent and fair.

Incidentally, it was turned down 2 or 3 times for charitable status and now appears to be on some kind of probation.
I expect when Scameron realised how handy they could be for him, he rang one of his Eton chums at the commission and suggested they be passed fit until c. June 24th.
