Here's an intriguing case of the BBC showing its not-exactly-left-wing bias really. Hillary Clinton has had a very good night, it seems, or at least that's what the headline passes across. However that's not actually true. Yesterday, the left-winger (or left-wing in America) Sanders won in Utah and Idaho, so massively that actually Hillary's win in Arizona is not even close to enough to make up for it. A true left-wing biased article (and, in this case, also rather more accurate) would run "Sanders score big wins, keeps in touch with Clinton". The latest delegate count for the night's results has him 16 up over Clinton. Not enough by any means to make up the large overall deficit he has, but still it was a far better night for him than it was for Clinton.
Regardless, TTT, Trump is far more of a threat to the right -- the political right, at least -- than he has been to the "left", whoever they are in the US, so far. However well he's done so far, when it comes to the election proper, will someone so full of anger, bile and hatred -- not to mention viciously threatening anyone who criticises him -- as he is, really do well?
At this point we're very likely to find out. I think those who are looking forward to him proving all doubters wrong will regret ever thinking it was a good idea. Trump running the US is not all that different a prospect from the angry bloke down the pub who shouts a lot. If not more terrifying, because it may actually happen. And you don't have to be on the "Left" to worry about it. We all should be.

But it seems to me that if the Republican Party ends up having Trump as their candidate, they only have themselves to blame. The Party should have got all the other candidates together and got them to agree to all surround one candidate, capable of winning, instead of scattering their votes over a huge list.
It should be a case of my enemies enemy is my friend. Any of the other candidates, like Jeb Bush, is surely better than trying to get someone like Trump elected. They are risking another 4-8 years in the political wilderness again.

You're a little behind the times, I think, Mikey. Jeb Bush pulled out a month or so ago; Rubio did last week; and all the others apart from Ted Cruz (even worse than Trump, arguably) and Kasich (relatively sensible but has no chance of winning) have left, so the field of candidates is down to three. Odd early voting rules meant that Rubio actually came third in Arizona with 70,000-odd votes despite not even being in the race; had those votes gone elsewhere, things might have been closer at least.
Trump has done a fantastic job so far of exploiting a divided party and a broken voting system; I don't see that working in the election proper.

Heidi Cruz has taken leave from her job to help her husbands campaign. So she is in the front line then. Apparently they have published nude shots of Trump's wife. As far as I can see Trump has merely threatened to "spill the beans" . I'd Say the Cruz's started it, If you don't want to get hit don't join the fight.
