What bugs me is that I have complained about this many times to the customer service desk in our local Sainsburys and the staff simply shrug their shoulders and do sod all about it. When I see someone parking in a disabled bay without displaying a badge I always politely say "You've forgotten to display your disabled badge" and I always get a mouthful of abuse....

Lol. Go get 'em.
If you stick a hard to remove sticker onto someones car, would it be classified as criminal damage ?
Just wondered where you would stand.
How they gonna know who stuck it on??? ^^^^^^^^
Yes obviously you would have to be caught.
If you were caught in the act by the car owner then things could turn ugly very quickly.
But with refernce to the sticker, would it he criminal damage ?
From the CPS website:
"Meaning of Damage:
Damage is not defined by the Act. The courts have construed the term liberally. Damage is not limited to permanent damage, so smearing mud on the walls of a police cell may be criminal damage. What constitutes damage is a matter of fact and degree and it is for the court, using its common sense, to decide whether what occurred is damage"
Why not just let the air out of their tyres ?
So you could be on dodgy ground then.
Waiting for a court to decide if it's criminal damage or not.
The car owner might say you scratched the car also and ID an old scratch and say it was recent.
Or better and cheaper if you can find parking warden report it to them they are prowling around Leicester as they are a good source of income for they council
So the badge is what matters is it?

I'm disabled but don't have a badge because I don't have or use a car that often. However I would have no hesitation in parking in a disabled space to make life easier for.me. Nor all disabled have or are eligible for badges....nor do they always have visible disabilities.
I parked in disabled bay once and helped my husband out of car. I forgot to put his disabled badge in window as I rarely drove him. We did get someone being abusive when getting back in car about ten minutes later. Things are not always what you judge them to be. He is dead now so won't happen again. :0(
The offence I believe is failng to display a valid parking badge, which also includes displaying the "clock" set to the correct time.A person who is genuinely disabled can still be "done" if he fails to do this.I know this as I was ticketed parked on Grove Street,Retford even though I,d posted the badge I didn't set the clock it cost me £40.00.

i am hoping to whack it on the window and disappear.
i am sure it could never be regarded as criminal damage
its got to be the hard to remove ones
but not at a quid each,thanks Chris..Beuncheekyo
i would rather write on the car.with a rusty nail!
Now sinders that would be criminal damage resist
Get a magic marker!
Question Author
sorry,i was joking about the rusty nail.i would use a screwdriver
Lol
I've always preferred the...

'You've taken my parking space,
do you want my disability too?'

message, don't sink to their level by doing damage Sinders.
What, on Postdog's car?
