On the News Section we have seen Katie Hopkin's opinions both criticised or supported, but whatever your opinion of her, I am sure most of us will wish to convey all our good wishes along with every success on coming out of this surgery successfully cured of her dreadful epilepsy?

Get well soon Katie.

You've only got to remember the vile way the lefties "celebrated" Maggie Thatcher's death to realise what an unsavoury bunch of miserable excuses for normal human beings they are.

By the way - I don't know what the removed answers were, so I can't comment on them, but wouldn't Ms Hopkin rejoice in the debate here?

She wants people to be free to give their opinions on matters in the news, and as she has proven time and again - it's irrelevant whether those views are considered disrespectful, insulting or offensive - it's better that people have the right and opportunity to express themselves.

I think that Katie would be turning (extremely careful) cartwheels reading this thread.

Who's to know if someone may Tweet Katie a link to this thread, it would pass some time as she recuperated - bet she would enjoy it too.
I suspect she would.:-). Some brilliant posts by sp...
"would result in AB being a very dull place filled with forelock tuggers and yes men........I doubt that is what you really want. "

I do!

Well, as long as it's me your agreeing with and bowing down to- obviously.
I thought we just had to feed you cake? Xx
///Not in this case, as usual you have it completely wrong in your persistent quest to have a dig at me.///

Surely you have realised by now that something you may have in mind to happen very rarely does, on AB?

Putting up a thread, any thread, invites people to post responses. You cannot dictate what sort of responses are 'acceptable' and dis-invite those posters not agreeing with your point of view.
Some replies may be impolite or disrespectful, in your eyes, but any ABer is free to make them!

Fresh cream apple turnover Boo???

Eccles retreats doffing cap and tugging forelock........
It depends whether the soon-to-be-removed-comment is directed at the post, or directly at the poster.....personal insults will probably always, and ought to be, removed.

Have we?

I saw AOG's insult towards Islay before it got removed and since then Islay's original post has also gone.

baz's post which also insulted other ABers has gone, and I'm not sure what the 4th one said.

Any ideas?
-- answer removed --
No.
Out of the of the three examples I gave, two were a direct insult aimed another ABer.
I assume Islay's post was removed because it got reported - not because it was aimed at anyone on this forum but because it was deemed to be unpleasant.

Did you see the 4th?

"baz's post which also insulted other ABers has gone"

i didnt insult other AB ers as youve decided to put it, i only commented and gave my opinion on a particularly vile person who
now seems to have selective memory...and seems pretty happy to make the same comments about others on here when it suits them...
Regarding OP, like many I am no fan, but I send every good wish to Ms Hopkins for a successful operation and recovery.
Why has this post become a slagging topic?
Haven't a clue TWR, seemed a straightforward post to me.
