Well it had to start at some point. This is not good though, we are truly on the brink of civil war. Vigilantes, rise of fascism - not good.

Yes not looking too good, if the police did their job and cleared these youngsters from the station, then perhaps these yobs wouldn't be forced to take the law into their own hands.

I do wish to know however if these migrants are actually children as reported or teenagers as also reported?

Sadly all the politicians all over Europe (apart from a few who spoke out) have thought that allowing thousands (millions) of people in to Europe (over many years) was going to sort itself out smoothly and quietly.

How wrong they were (and how stupid the politicians were).

Using an alanogy, put one spoonful of sugar in your tea and it is fine, put two in and it is probably still fine, put 3 or 4 in and it become too sweet, put 50 in and it becomes undrinkable.

Sadly we have reached the "50 spoons of sugar" stage and Europe is now becoming a huge mess, waiting for the thing to blow up.

But the politicians don't care, they just retire on their huge pensions.

We have been talking seriously this evening, OH and I (yes, we do talk anyway OK!) and we are both of us old enough, and studious enough, to now feel very pessimistic. Horrible things are going to happen and innocent people will suffer. None of us wants that, but it is inexorably heading that way. Best we can do is get out of Europe, stock up the supplies and brace ourselves.

Well that's what a combined age/experience/education of 150 years can come up with! I wish I could see a happier scenario. :(

These are sad times, and I see noticeably absent from comment are the right-on AB brigade. Are they finally seeing the folly of their ideals?

Why when public options on these kind of matters are aired they are associated with far-right groups, football hooligans and mobs?

Why can't it be normally peaceful law-abiding citizens who have had enough, so they finally have to voice their opinions and sometime protest if they must?
