//- much less removing contributions and much more allowing the usual suspects to have their usual say//

Kettle? Pot?
This is an unoffensive whimsy? When pulled up on it, well it now becomes an ironic comment. Perhaps Mikey might consider that others post with some irony but don't expect those who disagree jump on the remove button????????
I think the Danes could be missing a trick here !

Think of all the mattresses that could be stuffed with the hair that they could shave from these refugees....that would provided something soft and warm for their boys on the Eastern Front to sleep on !

And what about all the old gold teeth !

As said earlier they apply the same rules to their own citizens who need help and welfare. If they have assets they should use them or was that not in the immigrants plan to pay their way in Europe?

You missed my irony I think Retro.
Good news! Halle Berry is to be the new James Bond. :-)
I've just ordered Pizza - fingers crossed!
:)
Meat feast ;-)
:o)))
Some Thespians have successfully crossed the footlights and made second careers in politics. Glenda Jackson and Michael Cashman come to mind.
Could this chap be looking for a place on the green benches?
The objectification of Stringer Bell demeans you, ladies. :-)
Not with you Douglas, Meat Feast is my favourite pizza - can't be doing with the veggie nonsense , I need my protein.
Always a disappointment when they hide the salami though.
Never a truer word spoken.

Excuse my late entrance.

I apologise for the misleading headline, although I realised this gathering was not to take place in the chamber.

But what I was enquiring, why the need for 100 MPs to attend the said meeting?

Lenny Henry is always going on about the lack of black actors in films and TV etc.

Why just black, why not Indians and the Chinese?

We have seen the obligatory black persons squeezed into role in such TV series as Midsomer Murders, Endeavour and occasionally into period series such as Mr Selfridge and Downton Abbey.

There has also been an increase in black News presenters, weather girls, antique show experts. The question we must ask is why, what about other minorities are they less worthy?

And what of our national sport soccer, why are there so many black players? The answer is because they can play better, so perhaps this could be the reason that there are not many black actors, could it be that whites make the best actors.
The MPs attended for two reasons.
The government owns BBC and Channel 4 so must show an interest.
The alternative was to attend the debate about Donald Trump.

I know where I'd rather be.
//But what I was enquiring, why the need for 100 MPs to attend the said meeting?//
So that they could get their smug chops on American TV.
You don't get Champagne and canapes after a sitting in the House debating a pointless issue re allowing a law abiding US citizen into the UK do you?
I am shocked at the lack of Inuit weather persons especially in the winter.
// and much more allowing the usual suspects to have their usual say//

Kettle? Pot?

nope just a hope that the usual suspects will espouse freedoms people have died for - of which freedom of expression is but one

and no I am not a serial zapper

I was more affronted being censored myself since you mention it over Cotbett v Corbett where a judge who had a medical degree gave a well reasoned judgement over gender intersex and behaviour - whi went down the tube fpr reasons very well hidden from me

why isnt anyone blaaarping their irony klaxons over Luther popping up stateside and saying in a Brit accent ( none of "dis where dat ting man " stuff ) that the US was a land of work and aptidue where one could achieve far more than in England

and then admitting he hadnt made it there either !
