this clown is fit to lead the country needs their head examined...

hed sell us down the line if given the chance...thats assuming he wasnt taken out by the miitary in a coup if they thought he was .

between him and adolf merkel they represent the biggest threat to this countrys future and its security since the second world war........only heartening thought is that the chances of him ever becoming PM are virtually nil....best place for him is down one of the drains he seems so fascinated by...what a clown he is

The trouble with you Bazwillrunfromsense is that you dictate, you present all your opinions as if they are fact. I've also noticed that you refuse to enter dialogue: you present your inflammatory opinions, someone answers, you come back with something even more vitriolic, then that's it ..."end of"!
'I think you have to have security that prevents people firing off weapons where they can, there are various degrees of doing things as we know.

'But the idea you end up with a war on the streets is not a good thing. Surely you have to work to try and prevent these things happening, that’s got to be the priority.'

No shhh it Jeremy but when all else has failed and some crazed lunatic is spraying bullets like confetti ... Shoot to kill is the only option!
An overstated post, I agree, answerprancer. I have noticed, however, that over the past few days Mr. Corbyn seems to have....I was seeking for the word... shrunk. Just seen him on TV. Perturbing, to say the least.
yeah lets just give them 48hrs exclusion notices so they cant enter a certain place or risk an £80 pound ticket
This man is as much a menace as the terrorists themselves. He really should get real and consult with the Home Office before making ridiculous statements.
Police forces in the UK are trained to only draw their weapon if they intend to shoot, having very quickly decided if their is a threat to their life or others they are protecting. They are trained to put two sense of direction or if time allows carefully aimed shots into the largest target area of a body mass. The Chest area. If possible a third shot to the head to ensure the assailant is no longer a threat albeit wounded.
Police officers are not trained to shoot guns or knives out of terrorist's hands. That is for Western films .Like it or not the aim is to neutralise with death usually the end result. Not all police officers are happy with that responsibility and that is why there is a shortage of armed police officers nationally. Those who choose to carry out firearms duties are profiled as to mental suitability. Mistakes are made but few in proportion to the amount of times firearms are illegally used in the UK. Believe me theire are loads of illegal firearms in this country and as the link tells us it is easy to smuggle firearms or component parts into the country.
Corbyn,we do not want or need cowboys supposedly running this country or the mickey mouse protection you would afford us.
I wonder what he'd like the police to do. Perhaps shout 'Please stop killing people - it's not nice you know' at the gunmen through a megaphone.

do you really think im bothered what you think ?...pfftttt
you posted all that drivel for what ?.....

heres some free advice ....dont like then dont read
Not sure that the family of Jean Charles de Menezes would share your redneck views.
So you do not think that the police in Paris should have shot the terrorist dead then Canary?
Corbyn can sing Incy wincy spider lay down your arms....that'll stop terrorists!
Is it not about using our intelligence and not some mad knee jerk reaction. These are difficult times and using our brain not our heart is called for.
Can you intelligent poster tell me what the alternative is to 'shoot to kill' in a Paris style attack...

can you?
Canary
What's with the name calling. I am not a redneck. Were you aware of police/H.O. policy on use of firearms before I posted this or are you as woefully ignorant as Corbyn?
Strange how some people faint if they prick their finger and see a drop of blood but they are very happy to have some one save their lives who is not scared of blood and will apply a tourniquet to save them.
If a terrorist had you lined up for execution you might not like guns or feel comfortable in the presence of guns but I bet you would not call a soldier or police officer a redneck if they eliminated the terrorist and saved your neck or would you?
The foolishness is in asking the question trying to tie someone down to what they would do in a future situation, and letting all the world know. It is perfectly reasonable to state you may not be happy about a situation whilst avoiding making the error of dancing to an interviewer's tune.

The problem with state endorsed executions is that the probability for mistakes is very high.

Last time it was a Brazilian. The next time it could be you.

Corbyn is correct to be concerned.
gromit your post was it a quote from the 1994 lottery adverts ;)
I will repeat the below post untill I get an answer from an intelligent poster.

Can you intelligent posters tell me what the alternative is to 'shoot to kill' in a Paris style attack...

can you?
Please....

The terrorists didn't seem to make mistakes in Paris. They strolled around from pavement cafe to concert hall calmly reloading their weapons ,lining up their victims and slowly systematically slaughtered them like they had all the time in the world.Got back into their Seat and calmly drove away.
Would you prefer them do it their way or would you thing an armed officer may have made a difference if he was in plain clothes enjoying a coffee in a pavement cafe?
I did say that police
have made mistakes for which they are answerable. Terrorists answer to no one.
