Thank you - a gentleman.
hang on here - all this lovey dovey and apologising is not in keeping with AB news section.
You don't want this section to become a 'non contact' area , do you ?

I am fine with the apologising, but can I get back to you on the 'lovey dovey' part????
I have never been to Manchester, although I did go to Blackpool once, and that one experience was enough for me !
I wouldn't want to live in Manchester (or Blackpool either, Mikey) myself. Then again I would find either preferable to London or most of the places I know in the South East. (This is to TTT!)

'Racist' perhaps? That's always a good starter.

A complete family of illegals, where will it all end?
-- answer removed --
To interject slightly off topic, I left England (the Potteries region) as a young kid in 1957 and have never been back. It's not hard to imagine that if I were to pay a visit now, there would be very little that I would recognize or be at all familiar with. I realize of course that that could be said about most places. I don't suppose Mrs. Minniver would recognize much either:)
stuey

That was a brave step to have taken , as a kid

You gotta leave home sometime Baz!
Yep. My dripping and salt sandwiches for school lunch were wrapped up in a road map of Canada, and included a one-way ticket...Those were the day!
Quite farsi cal....
As a Manc myself, I can see why this chap wants to get out so badly if his beliefs and opinions conflict with the concept of tolerance.

Manchester is an extremely tolerant city. It is a melting pot of many diverse nationalities. The night-life ranges from the quiet to the rave and everything in between. It has the most incredible range of restaurants outside of London. It has a fabulous gay scene typified each year with the Pride event. It is a truly cosmopolitan place. I go out there regularly and I have never once in my forty odd years seen any trouble whatsoever. The people (barring a few exceptions) are friendly, considerate, and courteous.

If this illegal immigrant wants out then good riddance. He's clearly at odds with Machester's vibe.
^ .. From someone who obviously knows Manchester, nicely put!
