It would be nice to think that, as a society, we were *all* looking out for the welfare of our children everywhere and not simply focusing on the current bogey-men.

A Labour MP did some research into this. And estimated a million young girls had become victims of 'Asian' grooming gangs. I can't imagine that's right but if it's only 10% of that figure, we've only scratched the surface of this problem.

I'm simply stating that whilst there are some 'high-profile' groups of abusers operating across the UK, we do our children a disservice if we assume it is *only* those sort of groups who are carrying out the abuse.

We need to remain vigilant to ensure that abuse, howsoever and wheresoever, it occurs is recognised and dealt with as swiftly and harshly as possible.
