Why has the Gay community turned into bullies?

Ironically they have been delivered from this sort of thing themselves, now they make a "sport" of picking on people that don't embrace their lifestyle as enthusiastically as they think they should. It's going to take time for all the officials to come to terms with new rules etc, why go around trying to find people to bully?

Bullies. Imagine going about the place deliberately making people's lives a misery, just because the law is on your side. Why would anyone want to force a clergyman/

What I stated as a fact was that this woman’s attitude is homophobic – and that can clearly be seen from watching the film. Her obvious attitude of contempt for the couple, their intention to marry, and her responsibility to issue them with the licence to do so is homophobic. That is what I actually said.
She could have vehemently disagreed with the notion of gay marriage, and been professional enough not to allow her personal views to conflict with her performance of her duties – she chose not to do so.

I have to disagree there.
The aim is not that everyone agrees that gay marriage is a right and proper thing, and that view is compulsory.
The aim is that if a gay couple wish to get married, the law of the land says that they are legally able to do so, and as such, they should not be discriminated against as a minority.
The absence of bigoted prejudice is already compulsory – it’s just that this lady has a vested interest in not see that fact.

This is what I love about (most) people today.
The support offered to gay people by the vast majority of straight people is bloody heartening....just fantastic.
Imagine this thread 30, or even 20 years ago - I can imagine quite a different reaction.
Like I say - (most) people are just flipping brilliant! If you're passing these attitudes onto your children/grandchildren, then the world will be a much better place in a few years time.
But TTT regarding the question - from what I see, is it not true that these people can't pick and chose which official they get their marriage licence from?
If that's the case, in what way are they 'bullying'?

2) Whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery(Matthew 5:32, 19:9 & Luke 16:18).
3) "Whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery" (Matthew 5:32).
4) "...whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her" (Mark 10:11 & Luke 16:18), which applies to women as well (Mark 10:12).
Hoorah for hypocrites.
