Alex Salmond could be right here. If Britain as a nation, votes to come out of the EU in any future referendum, he is saying that it would precipitate a second Scottish Independence referendum.

Considering the present huge popularity of the SNP, it would seem to me that the answer would be a resounding YES the next time !

Any feeble excuse to try again if the elites didn't get the answer they wanted last time. They should be ashamed of their tactics. Whatever the UK decides as the UK is for the whole of the UK. There is no justification to use it as excuse for separation any more than any other Westminster decision.

Bjk = big jock knew
The uneducated seem to think Celtic park is called parkhead

//Celtic fans have used both Parkhead and Paradise as nicknames for Celtic Park.//

Yes he certainly does have a point.
A no vote in the referendum would seriously further threaten the integrity of the UK.
I wish he would not shoot his mouth off about it though
lets hope so.

The UK's existence came about with the union of its constituent parts - a family of sorts.

If three members of a family of four adults (say people from the UK, living in the UK) decide they are going to live in Australia but the fourth does not want that, it would not be reasonable to say that the emigration must go ahead and apply to the entire family. Once the three leave, the fourth is still eligible to remain in the UK. Now replace UK with EU.

As has been said above, last time the promises persuaded the wavering but that has gone sour. Similarly, the scare tactics have been worn out and the suggestion that an independent Scotland would not (if it wants to) continue more or less seamlessly to be a member of both the EU and NATO is now taken seriously by far fewer than before. A referendum on independence held now is much more likely to result in a Yes - after all, it would only take just over 5% to reverse their position and I have not come across any suggestions that those who voted Yes last time are changing their minds in significant numbers, on the contrary.
Oldbobasual,
Where is your link to the Celtic Park ring?
Supply proof?
I think this muck raking by you about Stein, is complete nonsense.
This is News.
Post facts, not hearsay.

You have not supplied a link to qualify your statements, so they are irrelevant until you do.
If you knew children were being abused surely you should have reported it?
Then, or now.
And if not, why not?
Never mind a second Scottish referendum. What about a first English referendum on the future of the 'union'. I think lots would be thinking that the time has come where the Scots might be more accommodating outside the tent.

Pete....I notice no authentication by oldbobof of his allegations.

During Stein's managerial time at Celtic they were the first UK team to win the European Cup,and NINE Scottish league titles in a row including two trebles.

These achievements would not appear to leave much time for any extra curricular activities as promulgated .
Old Bob, your post at 13.07.
I had a little look to see if there was anything in your accusation of the late Mr Stein on any reputable site.
There is nothing anywhere mentioning a "large paedophile ring" at Celtic Park.
Nor is there any accusation anywhere regarding knowledge or involvement by Mr Stein. One of the abused boys made it crystal clear that Mr Stein knew nothing about it.
Why did you do nothing about it, if you "knew"?
And why have you introduced this into a debate about a possible Scottish referendum?

Sir Oracle, I am aware of Celtic's achievements in that era.
They were certainly a very special club indeed.
Wish my club had a record even vaguely approaching their's!
