She does have some good points but needs to work on her oratorical skills a little:

Probably need to look up the word 'oblivious'.

Apparently there was but it may have been consigned to the dressing-up box of history. A pity, traditions shouldn't be so easily discarded.

Sounds okay to me. She obviously omitted the word "don't", but minor slips of the tongue aren't really a big deal any more than typos are on AB.

If you take her to mean they challenge the procedures by transgressing rules they are not aware of, they would be oblivious to those rules.
