Little Boy Killed In Skiing Accident

I saw this on the news yesterday but I hadn't realised that this little lad was only 7 years old. According to the news, he asked for permission to ski alone. How on earth did his parents allow him to go skiing alone, in such a dangerous place ? What on earth were they thinking of ?

I have no problem castigating parents guilty of wilful neglect but find it prudent to wait for the facts before passing judgement (You could end up looking callous and stupid otherwise)

Has any one else noticed that when OP places foot firmly in mouth after his soap box posts he disappears when he realises his OP doesn't actually go the way he wanted. More often the case when expounding his views without being fully cognisant of the facts first. His last post was 1326. Just a casual observation.

This is the trouble with 24 hour news, the facts aren't out there before people start forming opinions. I've done it myself in the past but have learnt that things generally ain't what they seem.

Those of an age ( Mikey myself DTC and AOG ) will recollect that at that age we spent over 90% of the time playing without adult supervision

and now the kids spend 90% of the time undersupervision

I think the remarks reflect this change
