...On behalf of Svejk, who appears to shy to do it himself...

(Check out his "This is mighty strange" thread.

Welcome to Saturday, hope you have a good 'un.

Mine has been great and now it is nearly finished.

8 degrees "C" here this morning but warmed up to 32C.
Winter is on it's way.
Hopefully winter will take it's time arriving :-)
Afternoon oz.
I was just about to hit 'Submit' when I spotted you. Well done mate. I've had the usual aggro getting on t'internet. It's the same with my wee kindle, so it's the exchange again. I clocked it t'other day when I had to go to Berkeley, it's 11 miles away.

Had a goodly lunch yesterday. I had the steak and ale pie, my mate had the ham, eggs and chips. We will be going there again!
The same 8°C here this morning, but there is no chance of it reaching 32°C or anywhere near it!
morning chaps. ;o)

Boaty, your lunches always make me drool.
Maybe my avatar should be a green swan, not a black 'un.

I've been reading some s h one T on the net and lots of people do not like "talk talk" over there.
Hmm just thinking.
"Time for a change"?
Morning stranger :o} Nice to see you. How are you mate?
Question Author
"Hello Svejk, fancy seeing you here old mate".
It's the same on all of them this far from the exchange oz. My mate over the road is on the same exchange, but uses a different internet provider and has the same problem. Next door is in the exchange 2 miles away and has no problem.
top form, thanks boaty. I'm in training for Cheltenham next week.
Question Author
Maybe it's time to exchange the exchange Boaty.
Who knows,
Lots of my countrymen already here sve. They have money and want to spend it. ;o}
Question Author
So Svejk and Boaty, what are your plans for a Saturday?
Come on you two, impress me, make me jealous ;-)
I've tried oz. They tell me it can't be done. It would involve laying new cables. They won't do that just for the few that are on that exchange. The local one was built a lot later. Back in the days of steam radio Dursley was a small market town and had few phones. We're talking pre war here, so they were on the the 11 mile away exchange, when the new one was built in the town most of them were put on it. Out her on the edge there were only a handful of phones and they were left on the far one. I'm going to make enquiries again. The problem is not every day, but it's annoying when it does happen.
A barby and a spot of surfing. ;-)
Your 'men' are late on parade, boaty. You must give them a stern talking to.
Question Author
Kick some butt Boaty,
never say die ;-)
hi gang

wbm - the exodus from the Emerald Isle to Chelt -- don't think its as big as it used to be
No plans yet for the day oz. I'll see what occurs and what the weather is like. There is some stuff in the garden that needs cutting up and bagging ready for the tip next week.
Dursley? that rings a bell. 70s sex scandals. Fess up, boaty.
Question Author
You are "bull shirting" me Svejk.
Yeah right, surfing and a barbie.
I reckon the only "barbie" you have was bought from a department store in a nicely packaged gift box ;-)
Morning beej. Bout youse,

You're right mate. it will be some time before it reaches the usual invasion numbers.
