Roll on independence for Scotland and England. That way can each be governed by our own chosen numpties, using our own resources. The current setup where there's a priveleged set of 5 million people out 60 million (set to become even more priveleged after May), based on geographical location can't be right.

The prospect doesn't fill me with joy. They're offended too easily. ;o)
There often is an over-representation of Scots in the cabinet anyway. And go back far enough and they got their King James to take over too.
Yes Naomi we are offended - often. Maybe it's because we have been ruled by a bunch of numpties in Westminster for so many years. These numpties who don't give a flying f*** about Scotland until it comes to election time.
You don't seem to do too badly.

As AOG said at 11.16 >> Scotland, no University tuition fees, no NHS prescription fees, free care for the elderly who own their own houses, paying far less tax per head, and free eye tests.
yeah maggie that's why you get 110% of what I get. really downtrodden.
The SNP are doing a braw job up here ,they may do a better job running the UK oops sorry England than the criminal elite that's in charge the now.

Sorry the last bit dropped off for some unknown reason.

It was - I wish we did so badly;-)
I thought that Andrew1707 sounded like a nice chap with a good sense of humour. I would guess that that would describe a typical Scot. I am sure that he even cares deeply for his sister.

Surely being English does not mean being anti everything else. I am Scottish first but I have nothing against being British.

the swaeties have always been well balanced a giant chip on both shoulders. The truth is they subsidised by England, end of.

You shouldn't feel picked on. They don't give a flying f*** about anywhere else in the UK either until it comes to election time.
calm down England, you may be lucky and retain Cameron, after all you voted for him ? :)
We can hope.
The reason why we are in the situation where the SNP might win 40 seats is because Labour went all out for the 'No' to Independence. Labour won the vote, but their was a backlash which the SNP hope to exploit.

The SNP have said that their price for joining a coalition is more Independence. Labour were veremently against independence, so it is too high a price for Miliband to accept. I can't see Labour doing the deal, but Cameron has previous of accepting any deal to get into No.10.

^Amen to that.
I'm sure the SNP would vote for that
The trouble with Scottish Independence is the thought of all those coming 'jock-aid' TV ads and the obligatory Wembley concerts.
The Wembley concerts would be so we could Nick the turf and goal posts for Hamden again
