he must be getting desperate! Perhaps ED's hoping there's a boxing aspect to the election!

Sandy, where that experience has been punching the general public, taking RAF flights to civil functions, and giving the V sign to journalists, one should exercise caution. Maybe Millipede is too young to remember?
Prescott defended himself against an attack by an ill-behaved oik...now just what is wrong with that ? I don't recall his popularity going down after that incident in 2008...far from it !

If there is is a serious depression forming in the Labour Party it's because Prescott looms large with his climate advice.

Millipede has his head in the clouds obviously.
As a politician, He should have been able to turn the other cheek and/ or counter the attack with words of wisdom, rather than let his temper get the better of him. Violence is not a good career move. His popularity may have increased in certain sectors but overall, it didn't do him any good.
Zacs...we will have to agree to disagree on that one.
Advocating violence in any walk of life is a bit 'daft' Mikey.
Mikey since you posted THAT video....

when PMz go on holiday their side kicks have a go and so it was the Deputy PM (Hague)answered questions from the deputy shadown PM ( one two-jags Prescott )

when Prescot hearked back to the previous election,
Hague commented, ah yes the 2008 general election - at least I got through that without hitting anyone
Zax Mikey come on !

no hair pulling in the playground or you are BOTH on the naughty step !
I wonder what you or I would have done if we were walking down the road and someone attacked us ?

I am by no means a pugilist but I have to admit that the thought of engaging the oaf in a riveting debate about the waste of good food wouldn't have been my first reaction. Prescott acted instinctively and most people I know had sympathy for him and none for the oaf.
PP...Zacs and I are having a interesting debate ! Anyway, I had my hair cut at the Turkish Barbers again this week, and there isn't much to get hold of !
You or I aren't politicians in the public eye. Big difference and a'daft' comparison.
PP...Zacs and I are having a interesting debate !

mikey supports violence, indeed that is interesting.
Mikey. First of all an endorsement by Jenny Murray carries no value with me. Hate that self serving woman. Secondly, lots of Politicians get eggs thrown at them but nobody else has punched someone in the face. So he's the same as the oil!
// PP...Zacs and I are having a interesting debate ! //

OK you two, get on with the hair-pulling oops sorry debate
and I will watch from the sidelines
Can you hear that noise?

It's the sound of the barrel being scraped!
I thought it was Prescott's knuckles on the ground.
Mikey
The correct way to behave by a politician is with dignity and aplomb. For all the fault finding you direct at Farage he is not an oik who lashes out but keeps calm. As an ardent Labour supporter I suppose you advocate violence, as did the WWB who also had history of thumping people.

It certainly shows how running scared the Tory supporters are when all they can do in the way of electioneering is to continue to mount personal attacks on individual Labour MPs. It's understandable though as they've got nothing else going for them.
Oh dear Canary, so only the Tories are attacking the opposition. If you read this post carfare fully you will find that they don't need to, Labour are causing the chaos all by themselves. I seem to have seen quite a bit of Tory bashing from yourself on this forum. But that'sok then?
Canary, if Milliband carries on the way he is the Tories won't need to say a word as he's handing it to them on a plate.
