But not a force for good.
I don't know, Andrew, you could power a few power stations with that?

(The odds are the next person is for UKIP or the Tories?)
Whilst we still have immigration then of course it is too soft. We need to stop that save for genuine asylum seekers and those who can plead being a special case. And whilst at it, limit child benefit to the first born only. Then is a few decades time we might see an easing of the near intolerable strain on UK resources.
What did I tell you? Probably think the Mirror is just for the effete...
As this clearly shows, the backbenchers are in the wrong party. Why don't they just do the decent thing and follow Farge's banner and join UKIP?

To get elected as a Representative for a party you do not support is dishonest to the voters and cowardly.
Gromit Hopefully even Tory voters will realise this and vote accordingly.
Bit like some labourites who have conceded that Labours open door policy was a mistake. Mistake!!! It has bordered on a near catastrophe to the services and infrastructure in this country. Suppose that wasn't dishonest and cowardly of these Labour MPs to let this happen and then lamely say later it was a mistake. Cameron ignores this backbencher at his peril.
Every member is allowed to disagree with the official party line and persuade those at the top to adopt a different policy. I don't see that as being dishonest, if they pretended they agreed that would be dishonest. The reality is that whatever the party, the member should be representing the constituents' opinion, not acting as lobby fodder. Each party should have a broad range of opinion, rather than a bunch of "yes" men & women.
Quite right, OG. You're too smart for this place.
Just checked what the Conservative leadership promised in 2010.
I make they delivered on one out of 7.

ONLY THE CONSERVATIVES HAVE A PLAN TO DELIVER REAL CHANGE IN EUROPE

So if you want:
1 To keep the cost of Europe down
2 To make Europe work for British business
3 To keep the Pound and Britain out of the Euro
4 Our country to keep control of its own borders
5 To keep Britain out of Eurozone bailouts
6 To take back control of criminal justice
7 An in-out referendum on whether to stay in the EU
Vote Conservative.

So it is the leadership that do not belueve the policy, not the backbenchers.
The ayes have it for the usual wisdom from OG. :-)
And Labour have unveiled a Pink Battle Van for the ladeeez.
If that doesn't finish them off, nothing will. :D
