If this killer had been sent back to Somali in the first instance, his victim and 4 innocent people who were killed in a revenge house fire attack would still be living, and the cost of relocating him from London to Leicester, and now the cost of keeping him in prison would have been saved.

Gang related crime can mean anything, and is not really serious enough to merit deportation.

when hussain hussain was sentenced, the judge remarked that this was clearly a case of postcode violence, and whilst he wasn't part of a leicester gang, his co-defendant was and lived locally, and was the intended target of the bungled revenge attack.

Should he have been returned to Somalia? Most certainly, yes. But better still if, for various reasons apart from the fact that he is a murderous thug, he had never been allowed to settle here in the first place. But that's hoping for too much.

Yes this demonstrates entirely that the needs of the criminal are of far greater concern to the authorities than those of his victims and potential victims. It is interesting to note that a "MAPPA (Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements)" serious case review (whatever that might be) had been carried out. However the public (who, presumably from its title, were the intended recipients of any protection that may have been offered) could not find out its findings because "the contents of it were confidential."
Leicester may well have provided "more suitable safe, secure and appropriate accommodation" for him and would indeed have given the people of Enfield some respite from his behaviour. But it did not do too much for the people of Leicester.

I've just searched the Crown court cases & results for Hussian but 100's & 100's come up (mainly for murder, rape, conspiracies and all the high end crime). Further reading reveals lots are immigrants, so at this rate we either build more prisons or give even lighter sentences (& tariffs) or deportation as the rule for those convicted of an imprisonable offence. Whatever way, its a mess and isn't going to get much better.
