I wish it would come to a sensible conclusion, tony. It is obvious a bigger mosque is needed as the Central Dudley Mosque is too small with no parking - one child has already been knocked down on the very busy road.
Why did the council sell them that land if they don't want a mosque built on it? There is a very large Sikh Temple just down the road in Oldbury that does not dominate the landscape, in fact you could drive past the entrance and not know it was there.

From what I see on the 'net, the objections against the Mosque sound spurious to me. I doubt if this was a new Church being built, it would have had as many as the 885 letters of objection that the Mosque has had. Same old, same old it appears to me !

This fool seems to think that the non-white population of Dudley are actually in favour of immigration. I have yet to meet anyone of any race creed or colour who wants more. Watch out for UKIP in all marginals (and probably non-marginals too).

He can certainly do that agchristie, as I have already acknowledged. But why doesn't he uses his talent to unseat a Tory MP, instead of Labour MPs ? He says he is a Socialist, but shows no sign of it in his actions. He unseated the widely respected Oona King, who was one of a very few black Labour MPs.
