Nothing deluding about this news for me but it is in spades for dave. Yesterday must have been his worst day for a long time. I expect another rat to leave this floundering Tory ship in the coming week, and if I were Farage, I would announce it just as dave is getting for his Conference speech.

Yes, bad day for the Tories and particularly David Cameron.

However what IS this big deal about the resignation of a Tory Minister because he sent nude photographs of himself to his mistress, although it was a "set up?"

It happens everyday......sexually explicit photographs are sent to girl friends/mistresses whatever you call them, in their thousands, probably tens of thousands, every day of the week.

Yes, he was a Minister....but a human being first.....Paediatric Oncologist at Addenbrooks sexually abusing his patients, Roman Catholic priests abusing children....far more serious.

Sending nude photographs of "each other" is now "small potatoes."

That's true for most people. ^ But politicians are expected to follow a much stricter code than the rest of us, be exemplary in all that they do.

I think this chap was set up by an undercover journalist, which is getting to be the usual way these people are found out. This wasn't a wife, a girlfriend or a mistress, and its unclear whether he had actually met this lady before. I don't agree with you regarding the undersized potatoes. He is a Government Minister and ought to behave with some dignity, which he has clearly failed to do on this occasion.

However, you are right on the button when it comes to child sexual abuse....its seems that the more the authorities look, the more they find. Our prisons will soon be full to overflowing with paedophiles at this rate.

But, as you say, a dreadful day for dave, and worse to come next week by my estimation. He has three by-Elections in the next few days and weeks, one including his old mate Boris, and it is all building up to the perfect storm
for him I fear.
