Bin The Politician

Along with estate agents and the man who wrote 'The Cheeky Song', politicians are generally held in contempt by the ordinary person in the street.

However, as much as we dislike them, don't you think that the actions of this crowd is genuinely disturbing?

Since I have already stated that this behaviour was unacceptable by our standards, that does not exclude me from making comparisons in my defence to other's views, that is what debating is all about.

I would suggest that ichkeria' response is much more on the ball. That's a comparison that makes sense in this context.

This was just in response to the over the top comments made by others, so as to try and put some perspective on the subject, this is what happens in the to and fro exchanges in debate.

I notice that Sqad was not so criticised when he rightly brought the 'Cat in the Bin' comparison into the debate.

I will be honest here - my hackles rose on this topic when AOG tried to pass it off as no worse than a Stag do or Student prank.

please - Russian - bin - good idea or not ?

Has anyone drawn a comparision with the manhandling of No politicians north of the border ?

I still think splashing a binned politician with water/lighter fluid is akin to showing him a noose and pointing to a street light ( a la lanterne ! etc )

I can understand - the Urkrainians believe the Russians have brought his doom on them...Putin's view is that fomenting low grade civil war will prevent further movement of Ukraine to the west.

Bad news - really bad news for the Ukrainians if that is the case
