I appreciate this is controversial but I'm getting a little tired of the never ending threads. There are three of them going at the moment and seem to occupy the latest posts box constantly. Anyone else feel the same?

Pathetic.

I used to join in the song lines one, and the Apotheosis in its heyday, but the others don't interest me. I just ignore them now.
I am with you Zacs. Probably we are in minority though.
i think one at a time is enough. I may start a 4 word intro !!!!!!!!
I'm in - don't come on here much now because of them - and it getting worse
What's difficult with these threads is that some people type so much faster than others, or have slower networks, so additions are often not consecutive - the point therefore of one post following directly on from the next is often lost.
Spoilsports...... ;0)

Ach it's just a wee bit of fun, you are not compelled to join in

A minority who have better things to do with their time, perhaps. And for those who say, don't complain, just report; I have sent an email. I was merely trying to gauge the anti NET feeling.
We all come on here for different reasons, slappy :-) We don't have to look at any thread we don't care for.

I appreciate we're not compelled to join in. But they are almost constantly in the latest posts box obscuring proper questions.
I have a suggestion for that - will post in the appropriate section.
The only reason I would favour them was if it blocks another thread about Cliff Richard!!!
Yes .Bunging up the latest posts box and then they moan about the Q&P people .They are just as bad .
I don't think it's spoilsport, but the same kind of abers complain when people ask questions at weekends in crosswords, if they want two to three word threads, I just wonder why they don't turn off lappy or whatever and get out and enjoy simple things in life. I feel sorry for them really

Ha ha AG. There were rather a lot of those.
Totally agree Zacs but was afraid to say so! Agree with boxtops about the lack of continuity.
I must be a spoilsport then :o), as boxtops says the continuity is missing. They don't make a lot of sense and take up too much room. A bit like my sisters husband really.

So quite a few with me then, so far. I guess the others are playing elsewhere.

Yes, but let's see how far it goes. :-P
