Iraq and Afghanistan et al did not demand to be invaded by the west. The only aims we were persuing were our own. The aims of Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Egypt have not been achieved, we have left them all in a terrible mess. Not only have we screwed up massively, but we have wasted $trillions and lost many British and American lives for absolutely zilch result.

The war on terrorism ( the excuse for our meddling ) has been comprehensively lost. We are less safe than we were in 2001

Wars are very costly to fight. They are fighting Government forces so they need lots of costly weapons. Have you never wondered where they are getting the weapons from and how they are paying for them?
