It stops being domestic when photographs are posted on-line.
Yes it should be.

Obviously it should be a criminal matter.
TTT...how would you feel if your daughter ended up on a porn site?
As soon as it comes out of the home it's not a domestic.
Prosecute for "invasion of privacy" or there must be some "breach of trust laws" somewhere.
If they are provocative once they are put on the internet they are there....
Of course the law needs to get involved, that could cause suicides and/or murder for sure!!
And if a couple decide to upload it themselves then there should be a way of removing it at a later date.

ummm, I'd be more concerned that she allowed the pictures to be taken in the first place. If they don't exist they won't end up on the net.
People get up to all sorts. I assume most, at the time, don't think they'll be betrayed by a bitter ex.
Yes. Because it has led to several cases of suicide. I'm not going to post a link, but the news stories are out there for anybody who wants them.

It might be different of the victim is 30 years old, but all too often she's still a teenager and unable to cope with this sort of action.

hilarious, I cannot conceive the scenario where we'd even think of taking even risque pictures of each other, that's why I find all this mystifying. How does it work? can someone explain. You take naughty pictures of erach other, then store them somewhere, phone/PC whatever??? So if you break up you presumably have to ask the other person to delete the pictures! what a palaver, if you are stupid enough it becomes a darwinism.
The youngsters take them of themselves and send them to whoever. It's called sexting...

you are indeed "down with the kids" ummmm!
I seen something about it on This Morning programme after a girl committed suicide when her then BF forwarded the pictures to all his friends....and they forwarded them on...etc etc.

I also have teenagers...luckily boys.
It's rude, nasty and inconsiderate, but it will muddy the waters with the aspect of copyright over photographic images. At the moment copyright of all photos or videos rests with whoever took them, no matter who they are of etc, any attempt to alter the law to protect people from home made porn films will need to be worded carefully to avoid people being able to start making a fuss to make sure things they don't want to be seen about themselves doesn't end up in the public domain. I do think it's very innocent of anyone to think a porn clip of them won't at some point end up on the net, which is why if that thought offends you it need to be thought about very carefully. I wouldn't do it because I don't actually trust anyone that much, and I think it would be wise if other teenagers didn't either, but surprisingly nearly everyone seems to sext which I think is stupid ;/
It's not quite the same as sharing naked pictures, is it?
