How come the israeli settlers say the gaza strip is god given and holy land. surely all of the earth is god given it makes no sense.AND did anyone see the footage on itv of a settler threatening to throw his child out of a window rather than move now what the hell would that achieve?

Actually, no-one gave anything to anyone, the Jews first took the land by conquest, as did the Arabs later, i'm not siding with either in this dispute, but the only title deed to that land is who owns it at the time.

I'm thinking of going to New York and telling the authorities there that God promised me the island of Manhattan. How long do you suppose it would be before the large gentlemen in white coats came and bundled me off to the Massachussetts State Home for the Bewildered or some such institution?
