Can I Change My Name

While I am on here can I change my name ie Avatar Name without having to go into stupid emails address.

I am finding some names similar to my own and I don't like it.

You could email the Ab Editor and ask if he will reinstate your previous name, and wait patiently for a reply.

Or, I suppose, you could create yet another username and deactivate this one.

It isn't possible to do it yourself, but you could always contact the Ed and request a name change. Follow the Contact Us link right at the bottom of the page.

i hate to say this but ab editor refuses to reverse - so I am stuck with this horrible name that I choose and don't identify with. I contacted ab editor and didn't get nice replies.

I must say I've always thought the user-inactive button was pointless. You're not the only one to find there's no way back. If people don't want to post anymore they should just step away from the keyboard and leave it at that.

I have seen the similar name just now - but knew it wasn't you from the style, you'll get used to it and I like it - suits you.

who's got a name similar to yours? The only way you can get the Ed's attention is either to repost this in Ed's Blog, or email him. Why would the Ed reply in a not very nice fashion?
