I see that Sqad has identified that some posters appear to be Obsessed with Answerbank. Perhaps we should have an Obsession topic where people who are suffering from this now identified syndrome could seek advice and help.

Ha! I definitely think there are posters who have this syndrome, though I doubt many would admit to it.
I don't post a huge amount these days, mainly because I've found myself a hobby and have that to keep me occupied, but there was a time when I was absolutely OBSESSED with AB.

It's a good bit of escapism :-)

I think there is a kind of underworld website that people can join, but they still are interested, if not obsessed with what goes on here. So there is probably no treatment.

I wouldn't say I was obsessed, but it's an important part of my day :-)

Must admit I was obsessed with AB when I first joined in 2006 for a few years. I was going through a rough patch at the time and it was nice chatting on here. not so much now though. I don't often get time when I'm at work so its mainly at weekends and when I'm off like today and tomorrow.

My current obsession is Sims Freeplay which I can play on my tablet in bed!

My favorite line is when people who are quite clearly obsessed with AB, yet make out they never even look in, say "I received an email". Haha! No you didn't! :P

I've not been doing it long, so still learning, but I've sold a few bits on Ebay and it's keeping me busy.

I flutter in and out and must say that there are certain members that are using the site almost every time I visit, morning noon and night!
I think it has become a part of some peoples routine, a comfort to others and for some they just want to vent.
Keep posting though, I enjoy contributing!!

I actually spend too much time on a gaming site. When my husband is around I switch screen to Answerbank. He probably thinks I am addicted to Answerbank!

Sandy I am going to plead the 5th amendment. However I will admit to losing more than I win, so now only play the free game each day that can lead to winning some money.
