Yes Anne, thanks for asking. It came out Wednesday. It was very painful, after being in for 3 weeks. GP prescribed Oxycontin and Oxynorm for the pain, thank goodness. :)

Yes! An extending one with a little hand on the end. It will reach down to the bottom of my back when fully extended. Bliss!

I have an allergy to bra back strap elastic. No idea what's in it, the straps don't itch at all. But I always have that itch where it fastens.

Maybe you have an allergy to the metal in the hooks - why not stick a cotton pad between your back and the fastener and see if it still itches

ferlew, I have the same, too much uric acid and react to the metal so always use the second line of fasteners

Never gave the metal hooks a thought, I always assumed it was the elastic.
Now then, here's a thought.....I can only wear gold ear rings, do you think there is a link?
