Yes but we weren't allowed to say it.
I have felt for a long time we have allowed a whole community of people into this country who will lie, cheat, scam, and do whatever else it takes to rip people and the country off.

We have had many cases here in Birmingham of "fake" election postal votes (general election and local elections), with candidates sitting in cars in secret places filling out postal vote forms in other peoples names, to send off to vote for themselves.

Most come from a place where benefits are unheard of so they will do anything and everything to claim all the benefits they can. Here in Birmingham two Asian families will each buy a house, then live in each others houses and "pay rent", and claim the housing benefit.

My wife works with disabled children and as soon as it is known that you can claim disability allowance for certain illnesses (Autism, ADHD etc.) then streams of Asians all of sudden start putting in claims for it.

Look up on the internet for all the "crash for cash" scams (where car crashes are "staged" to claim for repairs or whiplash injuries) and they are ALL Asian people.

Watch any of the "Police Reality" type programs on TV and you will find half (maybe more) of the people arrested in the program will be Asian.

Such a shame we "gave away" our country so cheaply.
This is the thin end of the wedge

africans and asians have been ripping off housing benefits for decades

they wrote the "how to" book on it

I remember an asian guy we worked with around 30 years ago telling us what sort of tricks and scams they pull to get the benefits, how many of them used the money to open shops etc.

successive governments must know its been going on wholesale but for some strange reason never seemed to say anything or do anything about it...very odd...unless...
@VHG

"Here in Birmingham two Asian families will each buy a house, then live in each others houses and "pay rent", and claim the housing benefit. "

one of the oldest tricks in the book from these people

its not just brum, its all over, the africans have also been doing it since they first started flodding in here

we're the mugs for letting them do it, the authorities have always know whats going on but have let it go for the most part
You have informed the appropriate folk I take it?
"the authorities have always know whats going on but have let it go for the most part "

you must have missed that part

just like the immigration backlog, even at that time they knew the scale of it and wouldnt be able to handle it, thats apart from being scared to do anything about it for fear from the do-gooder lefties getting on the case.

no doubt you dont believe the scale of what was going on then and still is going on now
Yes. No different from the rules they play by at home, from what I hear from my friends who live and/or originate from over there.
How do you KNOW they are aware of the HB scam in general or about individuals in particular?
not sure what its called now but check out COC claim of convenience , that and plenty of variations on it was used to the max to fiddle HB and every other benefit that was available then, oh and it helped if you had a large family, more names more claims, even better if the names were identical to thousands upon thousands of others practically impossible to check on and establish a true identity...the name scam was used to great advantage.... the same name scam was also used to great advantage in the poll tax magistrates court cases

"so mr XXX" which one of the 150 XXX's listed here are you ?"

"i'm mr g XXX"

and on and on it went until "adjourned until the exact identity of mr G XXX can be ascertained

?

and on it went

I dont care if you believe me or not, but they knew exactly what was going on.
Yes we have suspected it.

Just as we know coruption is rife in the City. And in local Government.
"Just as we know coruption is rife in the City. And in local Government. "

does that mean we have to accept even more imported crime then ?

Its in the Guardian too so it must be true.
I'm shocked but not surprised.
I recall soon as as postal voting started in the elections, it was asians who came to the forefront of fiddling and cheating the ballot papers

/// Grieve said that the problem was on the rise because some minority communities "come from backgrounds where corruption is endemic". ///

It is not only corruption that they bring with them, it is also other crimes, as it has been said many times before, it is not just a racial matter it is cultural.
shame we cant rid ourselves of the lot of them...
its not a racial matter its a cultural one...youre dont respect and are ruining our culture
… whereas of course the indigenous population is squeaky-clean.

The usual xenophobia.

///… whereas of course the indigenous population is squeaky-clean. ///

Nothing to be concerned about then?

Why is it we never hear this same support for criminals?

"White Anglo-Saxon male councillor rigs vote"........

Nothing to worry about, aren't the Ethnic minorities just as bad?

He has offered a rather comprehensive apology over his original article.

It is a view often expressed that our own business practices are above reproach, ethically sound, no moral grey areas whatsoever, and so therefore our values are better than those from some ethnic areas. But a moments thought should tell you that this does not hold up under analysis - MP expenses, Dennis McShane, Nadine Dorries, that MP using expenses to pay for the heating of his country estate, for starters. Or how about the Crystal Methodist Mr.Flowers? Or the examples of our utility companies, fined millions by the regulators for misselling utility plans? Or banks having to set aside record amounts in the billions for compensation claims to cover misselling of insurance coverage for loans? Or record fines from the regulators on the banks for rigging the LIBOR rate.

Anywhere you have money, and the means to get more of that by cutting corners and taking advantage you will find cheats, so this issue transcends ethnicity.

Don't they ever learn, they speak the truth, which in turn offends, and then they weezily apologise.

/// In a statement, he said: "It is not my view. I believe the Pakistani community has enriched this country a great deal as I know full well from my extensive contact with the community over a number of
