Anyone watching this? Good drama about how Coronation St started in 1960. Good casting too - William Roache's son (or is it grandson?) is playing William Roache, if you follow me!

I think it was on long ago- about the poor struggling writer of the script &how Violet Carson [ Ena Sharples] arrived in a full length fur coat and they thought she was a bit too grand etc she had to convince them it was for her ? yes it was good far better than the soap itself.
