....I'd like to ask you an intimate question.

How many bits of toilet paper do you use (on average) per "activity"? I probably use far too much...

As I do boxy, has the problem been sorted and is nibble home?
Question Author
Yes thank you psybbs - they had to come back on Friday (see sage episode 2) when his nibs was home. (He's off again in the small hours)

It seems a rather awkward question boxy. I probably use as much as you because sometimes my flush doesn't always clear all the paper away. So I have cut down, to two squares for a wee and a lot more for the rest. I could go on about the size of the quarters being dealt with but I'd best leave it there.
Question Author
Two for wee is good.

The other - well, I like to be clean, and i use one sheet of the moist (one only, though) but too much off the roll.....
buying said consumable earlier this evening boxy, I was thinking is there something morally "better" about buying the recycled stuff? I mean, it's loo paper
Question Author
I used to know a woman years ago whose toilet paper was brown and crinkly. I used to think it was made of old brown paper bags (in the days we had them).

I don't like the idea of recycled toilet paper, bleah :-)
Two squares for a wee what? :P
Question Author
a wee widdle, douglas :-)
Recycled toilet paper isn't previously used TP, boxtops. :)
Why is it called that, then?
Question Author
I only have your word for that, douglas :-)
Oh I wouldn't use toilet paper that has already been used as toilet paper, there is a limit.
My daughter's loo was badly blocked a while back, we found out that her daughter had been using facial wipes and putting them down the loo.
two scrapers and a polisher :)
All I do know is that women use far more than us men, I used to do the cleaning in the local community centre and as part of it had to keep the bog rolls topped up. It averaged out at 4 large rolls per cubicle per day for the ladies loos but less than 1/2 per day for the men's loos.Yes I know we don't need it after a pee but it still seems out of proportion.
Question Author
I think Elf and Safety would have something to say about pre-used paper, anyway.... :-)

I've never seen recycled loo roll - is it made from old newspapers?!
Question Author
Eddie, I worked in a brewery years back and we had a dreadful time convincing the estates guy that four toilet rolls wasn't enough for a women's 2-cubicle loo per day - he thought we were taking it home - as if, nasty pink crinkly stuff!
It's made out of re-pulped waste paper I believe.
Question Author
so I could save putting all that paper out for recycling, just make my own - mush it up, put it through a mangle and iron it......
Yes boxy, think of the dosh you'd save not having to buy premium quality bog paper.
