Goodness me - another baby found in a drain pipe - what is it with these mothers? Poor little babies, but at least it was found alive.

Not that unusual for a baby to be born into the loo, or so I hear, if the mother doesn't realise how near she is to giving birth - but not sure how it gets further down, poor little thing.

Having some stupid young boy get me up the duff at 15 I could not take into account discarding of the baby. We had a shotgun marriage, produced a lovely son who is now a doctor and two more as well. Now in my 60's, do these girls have no intelligence?

Aren't some of the people in Spain really suffering financially. There was a thing in the paper today about people in Greece having to give up their children because they can't afford to feed them. Heartbreaking.

I agree with you, ummm. However bad i feel for the baby, i can't judge the mum, as i just cannot understand how she must have felt to do something like that.

It is quite a common thing here in Africa. Young school age girl gives birth and is afraid to to tell parents so disposes of child in rubbish bin, pit latrines etc. They are. Desperate and feel there is no other option. I can sympathize with some of them.
