Well if they don't pay income tax in Cyprus they are better off than us who pay tax - is it 20%?

Quite scary though, isn't it? How can they just "raid" people's savings like that, without prior warning too - disgraceful.

I was a bit taken aback last week. Ireland is now a bankrupt country full of mansions.

Are their ATMs like ours i.e. you can only withdraw £200 per day - if so, why bother for £2 saving?
