'They said Miss Dougall, from Brighton, was a "party girl" who had been innocently caught up in a "bigger game". Distraught relatives had been calling Bali from Britain worried about the wellbeing of her six-year-old daughter, called Kitty, who was currently being looked after by their maid.'

Is that a Jack Wills polo shirt? They could use that picture in their Summer promotions. |

No Sh!t Sherlock. You can clearly see where she gets her brains from. As to the welfare of her 6 year old, well she didn't give that much thought when she became involved in drugs, smuggling or otherwise (allegedly of course) |

Isn't it amazing how they are always 'innocently caught up in it' ? |
|
Question Author
It does seem a poor choice, ellipsis.
ymb ... yes, people caught with drugs are always inncoently caught up in it. In fact, I'm not sure why we think that drug dealers are bad people. They are all innocent victims of misunderstandings. |

The biggest rewards from drug smugglers are to be found in places where the punishments are most severe. You wouldn't imagine there'd be much profit to be made taking a bit of herbal to Amsterdam.
