This is an utterly repugnant exmple of the way society views its celebrities.

It is not enough that young men are encourged to believe that they can use and abuse other people at whim because of a special talent, their status is further underlined by the notion that they represent some level of heroism among the supporters of football.

I am not easily shocked or disgusted, as anyone who know me on here will testify, but this morning i find myself to be both. I am glad I will not be at this game today - i would be arguing with the nearest applauding fan, asking him why he thinks his or her behaviour is appropriate, given the circumstances in which this player is absent. He is in jail for rape. Does that not mean anything?

nothing in the 35th minute either.
Well done blades fans, I'm sure Paul bracchi is busy typing up a daily mail article containing 30,043 apologies right now.
