And God almighty!

Were uttered by Jeremy Clarkson in a recent show. This has led to an accusation that the BBC is blasphemous by a vicar.

I am not a christian, so it does not offend me. And I do hear the expressions in everyday speech.

So is it offensive, anti-christian and blasphemous, or is this clergyman over sensitive?

At least he can rest in his bed that a Fatwā won't be issued against him.

So compared with some others, I don't think Christians are so touchy.

I suspect the Rev. Graeme Anderson is a sad little man who simply wanted to see his name in print and chose JC (no pun intended) bashing as a means of achieving it.
Same sort of idiots that tried to Ban Life of Brian when it wasn't even about christ. By definition they only talk twaddle. What Clarkson said is no more than millions say every day, not offensive or blasphemous.

publicity seeking?
You probably need to be stoned to cuss against Allah as you would end up being stoned, Ann.
I think Clarkson's only really being blasphemous if he believes in god, which I doubt he does.

If he's not a christian, then he can break any of the rules of christianity he likes because they don't apply to him.
ann i mentioned about that on the other page..

deet you are being silly now....
