That's a good idea actually – someone should market a new cheese called 'Dale Farm'. It will cost a fortune and go off immediately, leaving a really nasty taste in your mouth.

someone I know says 'Dale Farm 'sounds like some cheap savoury pastry product bought in Lidls.

I seem to remember a slimming product called 'Ayds' and there was a beauty product called 'Redken' and we washed in our socks with 'Omo'.
Smeg are high ticket items.

Haven't their customers ever watched Red Dwarf?
Yes, I remember Ayds if that's how it's spelt. I remember OMO but never thought of it as omo as in 'omosexual, if that's your point.

Evian bottled water has never suffered from its name being NAIVE backwards- surely that started out as an in-joke by the marketing people.

Also came in handy for signalling readiness for a spot of Afternoon Delight, apparently.
