Who says some minority groups are not trying to run the country?

Not checked you link, but I guess anyone is entitled to start legal proceedings. If they wish to warn folk this will start on a certain date, that is up to them.

I don't think there is a way of legally proceeding against some entity or other for not banning something. It'd be like sueing a referee for not booking someone when you think they should.

the average edl attendance is 20-30 drunks with personality disorders.

According to the Beeb, over 1 million people visited the carnival last year, and there was a total of 264 arrests (.0264%). That compares with an EDL march in Portsmouth earlier this year in which 500 took part and there were 7 arrests (1.4%). In other words, an EDL march generates 53 times as much crime as the carnival.

I understand that you think the media "play things down", but in respect of what? Are you saying that the media report you quote was deliberately played down? Maybe it was, but you don't say how.
And the second part of my bafflement comes from the fact that you predict a particular response from the press to a march by the EDL which hasn't actually occurred yet.

There is no comparison between the Notting Hill festivities, attended and participated in by people of all creeds and colours, and a small nasty march by a few people intent on stirring up trouble.
