everyone in Modern Britain has a better chance than ever before. Opportunities abound, if the youth of today choose the path of scummery then they are mad stupid fools.
it's on, but i have little or no sympathy for them, i was in one area in the capital recently and saw the damage, 14 shops along the high street had been vandalised. As Glenda Jackson said, why did they sh1t on their own doorsteps.
Geezer morphs into Cicero...
They need to be shown the error of their ways, swift and sure punishment is called for. No more namby pamby cosseting PC nonesense.
it's not thought provoking at all, it's just another in a long line of, lets find out why they did it, programmes.
Hang them. They wont do it again.

Teddy morphs into Solomon...
everyone of these criminals have/had the offer of FREE education. sad to say but zero tolerance now.
i deliberately didn't watch it as i don't want mr 'nobs to have a stroke
if there really are no jobs how do recent immigrants find them.
Rioters morph into cadavers. Televisions are safe.
...no flies on you Teddy!!!

em, i agree. i thought it would be a little less observational and actually offer some opinion about why, how, where, when it all went wrong etc. i did however, see some footage that i hadn't before which demonstrated the ferocity of the violence and what the police had to put up with which still managed to shock me further. i think the looters are scum - the generation of britain that think the world owes them something and are prepared to do nothing about it except lie, steal, batter and f*** everyone else over. they have absolutely no excuse - there are poorer, more disadvantaged people who chose NOT to do what the rioters did and i hope that the courts continue to dish out prison - and perhaps other punishments such as stopping benefits and evictions. i work 50 hours a week to afford my home and have been on the council waiting list for ten years getting no closer to an affordable property - why should a looter or other piece of scum who robs, bullies or decides not to pay their housing benefit or council tax (which is given to them by all of us) still be housed over me? it makes my blood boil...x
And i do believe that having a literacy level above that of an 8 year old helps finding work in England too.
Teddy boy, some do, not all, but give them their dues, many will work in the hotels, bars, and sundry jobs, even though they are not that well paid.
I have nothing against immigrants , if they work then good on them.
Definitley time to punish parents and I'm saying this is a parent of 19 and 21 year old sons and if they had behaved like the scum we saw last week I would gladly take the punishment as I would know I didn't do my job properly. Don't think we can blame evrything on being in a deprived area for instance,I consider myself to live in a relatively nice residential area but in the space of 10 minutes today looking out of my window I saw a group of 15-16 year olds throw stones at a bus and then at the driver when he got out to give them a piece of his mind. They then shouted abuse at a young woman pushing her disabled daughter in a wheel chair and then shouted abuse at my son when he pulled up in his car. These lads are not from a deprived area but do it just because they can.
