i can tell, x
i suppose george michael endorsed the tag line in that article did he ?

top queer indeed.
Don't think the joke was that insulting.... Plus it's not like there's not a grain of truth in it. I'd rather George Michael left the screen, his music is terrible and he's become a bit of a joke as celebrities go in my opinion.
besides he needs the publicity, it was either this or get arrested in a toilet again.
I suspect thats how a lot of people view the once famous and talented George..
Two classic examples of a fundamental misunderstanding of what homophobia and racism is.

The comment about George Michael was not homophobic and the comment about Lenny Henry was not racist.

just so you don't blame the mail
couple of playground twits, why don't they both grow up.
most people now will be waiting (me included) to see what quip clarkson will come out with on sunday.

its good publicity all round, hoorah!
The Lenny Henry comment isn't racist, more of a fact. The newspapers obviously haven't got enough real news so have to resort to stirring up trouble. Lenny Henry is a top bloke and there's nothing about him taking offence.
As for George Michael, he brought it on himself with his grubby behaviour so he can't really complain if people mention it.
I'm no Clarkson fan but GM is a vile creature & in my opinion furthers the cause for compulsory euthanasia.
Ron.
George Michael is a bit of a 'precious' gonk and really has very little reason to be so....
Jeremy Clarkson has never really grown-up and whilst I think he would be the first to agree that he's not the most handsome chap on TV, I certainly don't think he's in the least bit homophobic.

George Michael will have to target his 'hissy-fits' a little better in future.
I'm no great supporter of Clarkson but you can't call that joke homophobic. It could as easilly be targeted at a promiscuous woman as a gay promiscuous man.
