David Davies - Right or Wrong to Resign on Civil Liberty issues?

Personally I'm delighted a politician is prepared to risk his job and fight for all our civil liberties that are being eroded, including ID cards, needless loss of privacy in terms of government databases on virtually every aspect of our private lives and I applaud the Liberal Democrats who will not be putting up a candidate against him. I have felt very scathing of politicians of late. How refreshing to be forced to change my point of view.

A Tory resigns in a safe tory seat and then stands on his "principles" however of course when (not if) he gets re-elected he thinks he has a mandate whithin his party.

He should stand just on the 42 days, as a law abiding person I don't see it as an erosion of my rights democratic or not.

The people of Yorkshire should do the right thing and vote just on this matter and not on political guidelines.

Vote Monster Raving Loony after all you can vote David Davies back in in two years time after he hasd learn't a lesson both about politics and the will of the people.
