I still have never seen a Shakespeare play but last week saw a production of "Twelve Angry Men". It wasn't brilliant though. Oh well.
Again?

Havn't you seen some Shaxberd already this year?

Glutton for punishment (which isn't necessarily a bad thing ;-)......)

When they do an encore of the last two I will let you know and nag you into seeing them....

I like Stratford on Avon it's on the way to Avon park drag strip.
Glad you enjoyed it gness.
I did see Olivier's Henry V and Ian McKellen's Richard III but both were films I guess.

Glutton for Shakespeare, Shoota...especially these live streams....I adore the language and the way his plays can be set at any time and still be so relevant....
Imagine knowing Shakespeare...he must have been an exciting guy......

Punishment?...Hmmm....well I'm an open minded....ish......xx
I had to chose between that and another play this evening gness, and went for the live performance hoping I might catch an encore of LLW sometime. Pleased you enjoyed it.

I recommend Treasure Island if you get a chance to see an encore. It was very well acted on an anmazing set from the NT.

How about Antony Sher in the Henry's, did you have the pleasure gness?
Totty?
Group of us from school used to catch bus to Stratford on Saturdays whenever the play changed and but tickets to stand at the back of the stalls. Known by Box got to know us.
One Saturday group of four Americans who had booked were stranded somewhere. There were four of us that day and we were offered the stall seats at the same price as our standing tickets. Not exactly dressed for it but it was bliss.
Toty mmmmm.
Question Author
Yes I did, Maydup.....I first saw Antony Sher in The Revenger's Tragedy at Stratford in the mid eighties and have loved him ever since.....

They were showing clips in the interval...or playtime as we still call it...tonight of what he is doing but people were chatting and I didn't catch it.
I'll see anything he is in....x
