It could be a message in your wap inbox, just delete it.

I received the same ringtone alert a couple of days ago and have tried everything to get rid of the globe/exclamation mark symbol. Even more annoying is that when the flip on the phone is closed it displays the presence of an unread text message which means that newly received text messages can no longer be identified.Would appreciate it if anyone knows how to solve this!
OK! Have finally sussed it out! 1) connect to Vodafone Live from the main menu 2) select 'options' and scroll down to 'Advanced' 3) select option 4 'Alert Inbox' 4) there will be a message in there *Free Ringtone! - simply delete this and then both the message symbol and the globe icon with exclamation mark will disappear from the phone.......da da!!!
