Spin off from Bibblebub's posting -

Are they given religious funerals?
Are the bodies sent home so celebrations can be held?
Who pays?

grovelling apologies to boxtops, and anyone else who feels aggrieved by this affront to AB etiquette. I'm off downstairs to boil my head if I can find a suitable pan.
lol...it happens all the time :-)
Venator, many of them are residents in the country where they carry out their atrocities - they go abroad to learn theri "craft" then come home until "needed". In which case, they don't need repatriation, presumably the remains are returned to their families to bury, in which case, as normal, the family pays.
^ and IMO "celebration" would not necessarily apply - they are still someone's son or husband, even if they misguidedly felt that killing themselves brings them glory in the next time.
LOL venator, you must be in Scotland, I never heard "away and bile your heed" in any other part of the country! I'm not affronted - bibble, I'm sure you're not either!

Boxtops - I've seen coffins covered with the green flag being carried through the streets by crowds of people - that's what I had in mind. Does that happen for suicide bombers?
The ones I've seen like that have been for victims of atrocities - I haven't seen in personally, only on TV - so I couldn't hazard a guess.
Venator it must have been a very small coffin.Make sure to have the water at 100 degrees for suitable boiling.

Boxtops - The head boiling advice comes from OH who is Yorkshire / Manchester. I'm Scottish 3 generations back, and have traced back to early 1700s in Edinburgh.
Ah well, you can turn the gas off now! (sorry, we digress!)

Couldn't find a big enough pot, so brewed some tea instead...
What's the difference between Basil Brush and a suicide bomber?

A suicide bomber only goes BOOM once.
Question Author
Indeed - digression over!

I don't suppose the authorities would want to publicise it if they laid on religious funerals for suicide bombers?
I don't honestly think that "the authorities" would do such a thing - remains would be released to their families. Surely.
